About the process:

All of my fairies were created when I was a young woman,  16-20 years old. I was obsessed with their magical qualities and loved the feeling of making them "come to life" through art. Most of them are drawn and colored with Prismacolor pencils to get precise lines and smooth blending of skin tones. I used watercolor in the background of most, because watercolor has it's own magical qualities. All of the fairies are mixed media, some have a pen and ink overlay.
