beach & city scenes

About the process:

As much as I love the mountains that I call home, I like to visit other places, especially the ocean and city. Both different in their own ways, I capture their essence with watercolor. I paint from my photographs, or sometimes my friends.  I don't always have the time to paint "en plein air" or...on location. Painting when I return home is a special way of "extending" my trip, reminiscing on the fun times and new sites!
